The purpose of Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program is to educate healthcare personnel equipped with following traits: Having advanced computer skills, being good at touch-typing with F-keyboard, having excellent command of medical terminology, being good at processing medical records and documents along with coding of diseases and surgeries in accordance with ICD-10 system, being experienced in compiling and organizing scientific researches in various branches of medicine and healthcare as well as in presenting them for the inquirers and last but not least, being experienced in human relations.
The program has a 2-year education period and the education language is Turkish.
Program students gain pre-graduate professional experience with internships in the hospitals of Acıbadem Healthcare Group and other health institutions which are in cooperation with the university.
