Biomedical Engineering is a branch of engineering that aims to develop, produce, and efficiently utilize devices and biomaterials used for diagnostic, therapeutic, and research purposes through engineering applications in order to solve problems and meet requirements in the healthcare field. Biomedical Engineering is an interdisciplinary field that operates in collaboration with medicine, alongside fundamental science and engineering disciplines such as biology, physics, chemistry, mechanical, electrical and electronics, and computer engineering. Our program aims to train highly competent Biomedical Engineers in their field with the support of our strong Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences academic staff, the Clinical Simulation and Advanced Endoscopic-Robotic Surgery Training Center (CASE), and a campus equipped with advanced technology.
