The aim of Operating Room Services Program is to educate health technicians preparing the operating room for operation and giving support to surgical team during surgery.
The program has a 2-year education period and the education language is Turkish.
In Operating Room Services Program, students take courses on general information about the profession and duties and responsibilities of the operating room technicians as well as courses of basic medical sciences and culture courses. They develop their professional skills by practical trainings in the Center of Advanced Simulation and Education (CASE).
Program students gain pre-graduate professional experience with clinical practice and summer internship in the operating rooms of Acıbadem Healthcare Group hospitals and other healthcare facilities which are in cooperation with the university.
