A student's absence during the semester cannot exceed 30% of the total time for each course. A student who cannot meet the required rate for attendance from a course is considered unsuccessful due to absenteeism from that course.
The achievement of the students in a course is determined by the course success grade. The course success grade is obtained by evaluating the student's success in studies such as midterm exams, applied studies, homework, and the final exam together.
Instead of the failed elective course, another elective course with the same credit and ECTS value can be taken. After the relevant course is selected through the Student Information System (OBS), an application is made to the Institute Directorate with a petition. In the petition, the situation is explained by specifying the previously unsuccessful course code and name and the newly chosen course code and name.
