Medical Biotechnology is a program that aims to develop innovative technologies that will contribute to human health by providing education and research opportunities in the field of life sciences. The curriculum covers topics such as recombinant DNA technology, protein engineering, synthetic biology, tissue engineering, drug and vaccine development, rapid diagnostic technologies, personalized medicine, and gene therapy.
Students have the opportunity to work in well-equipped laboratories with strong infrastructure and modern instruments, under the guidance of highly experienced researchers, across a wide range of biotechnology fields. In this program, particular importance is given to collaborative projects with industrial organizations supported by national research grants.
All Turkish citizen students admitted to the program are provided with a full tuition scholarship. In addition, the majority of our students receive financial support through scholarships funded by research projects. Students accepted into the program are expected to work at the university on a full-time basis; part-time work is not permitted. We wholeheartedly encourage students with a strong interest in research to join our program.
