Sports Physiotherapy is a specialized field focused on the prevention of sports injuries, rehabilitation, and enhancement of athletic performance. This program aims to equip physiotherapists with advanced knowledge and skills in evaluating athletes’ existing injuries, planning treatment, conducting functional rehabilitation, and managing safe return-to-sport processes.
Within the scope of the program, students develop competencies in analyzing athletic performance using valid and reliable assessment methods, integrating evidence-based practices into clinical settings, and conducting independent research. Through a multidisciplinary educational approach, the program aims to train specialist physiotherapists who adhere to ethical values, think scientifically, and adopt a solution-oriented perspective.
Graduates who successfully complete the program receive a Master of Science degree in Sports Physiotherapy and can work as competent professionals in both clinical and academic fields.
