GENERAL RULES

  • Students can enroll in summer school for courses they have never taken before, were unable to take for various reasons, or failed.
  • Students enrolled in dual major and minor programs may also take courses during summer school.
  • Students may take up to 9 credits during summer school, excluding practical courses. 
  • Students who enroll in a course during the summer school are required to attend classes, regardless of whether they have previously satisfied the attendance requirement for that course.
  • Courses offered during summer school at our University cannot be taken at another institution of higher education. 
  • Students enrolled at other institutions of higher education who wish to take summer school courses at our University may register for the available courses.
  • The summer school tuition fee is calculated based on the fee per credit hour, taking into account the total number of credits of the courses taken. The fee per credit hour for summer school is set at 300 USD.
  • Students who registered for courses that were not offered due to the number of registered students falling below the required minimum will have their tuition fees refunded.
  • Once a course has been confirmed for the summer semester and classes have begun, tuition fees paid by students who withdraw from the course will not be refunded. 
  • Courses in the summer school will be conducted face to face.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES 

  • Our University students must complete their registration through the OBS Student Information System. Click here for the Summer School Course Registration Guide. 
  • Students enrolling from outside our University must complete the attached form and submit it via email, along with a photocopy of their ID, to the Office of Student Affairs at ogrenci.isleri@acibadem.edu.tr. Click here for the form.
