Story
Acıbadem Data Analytics Laboratory aims to use data science methods to improve the diagnostic and prognostic capacities of medical technologies. We provide innovative data analytics solutions to improve clinical decision-making performance. We aim to achieve this goal by developing bioinformatics, biomechanics, cognitive neuroscience, artificial intelligence-based approaches, optimization in health processes, and smart data entry applications.
While our laboratory prioritizes scientific projects, we can also provide services in various experimental or clinical measurement, validation, verification and prototyping processes that companies in the health sector may need.
History
Our laboratory was established in 2019 by Dr. Bugrahan Bayram, Dr. Sinem Burcu Erdogan and Dr. Ata Akin. While we used to use deep learning algorithms to classify melanomas, our work has now turned to using all areas of data science in the field of health. Since then, we have been involved in several projects covering research questions in radiology, neuropsychiatry, neurorehabilitation, bioinformatics, and sports medicine.
