The event commenced with opening speeches by Prof. Ata Akin, the esteemed Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Prof. Eda Tahir Turanlı, the Head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, and our respected Rector, Prof. Ahmet Sahin.
During the ceremony, Ozge Cetin, the top-ranking student of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, represented her department with an inspiring speech. Ozge Cetin, along with Aybuke Irem Dalkıran, the top-ranking student of the Department of Medical Engineering, was honored with the Outstanding Achievement Certificate from the Board of Trustees. This prestigious certificate was presented to them by our Board of Trustees Chairman, Mehmet Ali Aydinlar, and our Board of Trustees Member, Seher Aydinlar, who is also the President of the Kerem Aydinlar Foundation.
The graduates who achieved top positions in their respective departments received their achievement certificates from our Rector, Prof. Ahmet Sahin, and Vice-Rectors, Prof. Irfan Guney and Prof. Guldal Suyen.
Our Faculty Dean, Prof. Ata Akin, along with Prof. Ozge Can, the Head of the Department of Medical Engineering, and Prof. Eda Tahir Turanli, the Head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, personally handed over symbolic diplomas to all the graduates. The event was then concluded with the recitation of professional oaths and the traditional cap-tossing.
