Our Drama Club Staged “Mad World”

On May 14, 2024, the Drama Club of Acıbadem University performed "Mad World," a play by Lope Felix de Vega Carpio (1562-1636), in the conference hall. The comedy, set in a medieval mental asylum, depicts the chaos among the inmates and those losing their sanity, along with the story of a nobleman who seeks refuge in the asylum to escape a crime he did not commit. The performance captivated the audience. At the end of the play, directed by Filiz Ozbay, the theatre team expressed their gratitude to our Vice-Rector, Prof. Irfan Guney, for his support.
