The Faculty of Medicine's traditional White Coat Ceremony was held on 21 October 2024, at the conference hall Acıbadem University. First-year students, the future physicians, donned their personalized white coats and stethoscopes, symbolizing the beginning of their medical education, from the Dean of the School of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Nadi Bakırcı.
The ceremony began with an opening speech by Dean, Prof. Dr. Nadi Bakırcı. Faculty alumni and senior students also participated in the event, sharing their experiences with the new students.
Families and faculty members were also present in the hall to share the excitement of the students on this special day. During the ceremony, the history of the white coat and its symbolic significance in the medical profession were shared with the guests. The event concluded with a group photo and the applause of the audience as the students proudly exited the stage in their white coats.
