School of Medicine: Basic Medical Sciences Department Scientific Meetings XVII

The seventeenth Scientific Meetings of the Department of Basic Medical Sciences was held on March 21, 2024. These meetings aim to disseminate ongoing scientific research within the Department of Basic Medical Sciences across the entire School of Medicine, share findings with research centers at our university, and foster interdisciplinary scientific collaboration.

During this meeting series, attended by 40 participants, Özkan Özdemir, a faculty member of the Department of Medical Biology at Acibadem University's School of Medicine, delivered a presentation titled "Decentralized NGS Analysis: A Next-Generation Approach to Genomic Research and Collaboration." This presentation contributed to participants' understanding of current research in this field.

The event, which included the participation of our faculty members, administrative staff, and students, concluded with a question-and-answer session.
