Simulation-Based Patient Care Support Training

As part of the educational activities under the ISTisNA Project, supported by the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA), the Simulation-Based Patient Care Support Training was held on August 13, 2024, at Acıbadem University’s CASE (Center of Advanced Simulation and Education). The training aimed to provide participants with basic healthcare knowledge, improve intervention skills in emergencies, identify critical conditions, ensure safe care, and enhance health security for both individuals and communities, enabling effective emergency response. During the event, which was attended by 10 participants, key topics covered included Basic Principles of Home Care Support and the Heimlich Maneuver, Approaching Patients Experiencing Seizures, and Nutrition and Medication Administration focusing on Rett Syndrome.
