University Staff Reunite at Hidirellez Event

On May 6, 2024, our academic and administrative staff gathered in the university garden for the "Welcome Spring" Hidirellez event. The celebration featured a showcase of "Colors"-themed photographs by our Photography Club. Attendees made wishes and jumped over the Hıdırellez bonfire. Throughout the event, participants enjoyed musical performances by Sirdas Sayit, a Sociology student from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences on guitar, and Burak Emre Gunduz a School of Medicine student on the baglama, while dancing. The well-received event concluded with attendees writing their wishes on paper and hanging them on the wishing tree.
