Workshop: Medical Simulation Moulage

The "Medical Simulation Moulage – Workshop" was held on January 23-24 at the CASE (Center of Advanced Simulation and Education) of Acıbadem University. The event was organized to demonstrate to participants the moulage technique, which is one of the methods used to enhance environmental and case realism in medical simulation training, and to provide experience through workshop activities. The Deputy Director of CASE, Specialist Dr. Feray Güven, and Specialist Nurse Oya Sağır Koptaş taught participants in a hands-on manner during the moulage event. The workshop included demonstrations and practical exercises on equipment introduction and usage, deciding on the appropriate moulage method according to the scenario, working with Wax, Gel wound kits, Latex, Silicone, and using an oily and alcoholic bruising palette.
