The World Meeting of Arthroplasty Experts (WEMA), organized by the Acıbadem International Joint Center, was held on August 29-31, 2024 at Acıbadem Maslak Hospital in Istanbul. The event brought together 500 orthopedic surgeons from 83 different countries to discuss the latest developments in arthroplasty.
At the congress, where the shared expertise of the world’s leading arthroplasty surgeons was presented, participants introduced 300 contentious topics. Out of these, 64 were selected for in-depth discussions. Additionally, the outcomes of this congress are set to be published in the Journal of Arthroplasty in the coming months.
