We are looking forward to meeting our students again at our Campus in the Fall Term of the 2021-2022 Academic Year. However the Covid-19 Pandemic is not over yet and the increase in the number of cases continues to threaten public health. The most effective method currently known in the fight against the Covid-19 Pandemic is vaccination, so we believe that our students who have not yet been vaccinated will show the necessary attention to complete two doses of vaccination as soon as possible in order to protect their own health and the health of their close contacts.
In order for the new education period to continue in a smooth and healthy way, pursuant to the Cabinet Meeting Decisions dated 19 August 2021 and the Ministry of Internal Affairs Circular dated 31.08.2021, **our students and staff who have not received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine and are still in the two-week-period after the vaccination are supposed to submit a negative PCR test twice a week upon their entrance to the campus.** The same procedure will be applied to our students who are in the process of practical training/internship in hospitals or other institutions outside the campus. Students who do not have a valid vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test result in the last 72 hours will not be admitted to the campus and will be marked as absent.
In order to plan this process, a questionnaire containing information about your vaccination status has been prepared. This questionnaire will be filled online by the students on the OBS-Student Information System as of **September 11th, 2021.**
Our international students who have the HES code in the HES ( Hayat Eve Sığar) mobile application of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey are supposed to send their HES Codes to covid19student@acibadem.edu.tr . The ones who declared that they have been vaccinated in the questionnaire must send the image of their Covid-19 Vaccination Cards as well. Students with a HES code must update the HES application and click on the **"HES Code Settings"** in the application and click on the confirmation button to display the **"Vaccination Status", "Disease Status"** and **"Test Status".**
For our international students who have been vaccinated outside of Turkey and do not have a HES code should send the image of the official vaccination certificate/card issued by the national authority of the country in which they have been vaccinated to covid19student@acibadem.edu.tr e-mail address.
According to the course of the pandemic, students will be informed if the rules of entry to the campus change in line with the explanations from the authorized public institutions of the Republic of Turkey.
