Medical Biotechnology Integrated Doctoral Program	National: 11 (Tuition Fee Exemption applies) International: 2 (Tuition Fee applies)	Applicants must have graduated with a master’s or a 4-year bachelor’s degree from a higher education program in one of the following fields: Biochemistry, Biology, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biosystem Engineering, Biotechnology and Molecular Biology, Genetics and Bioinformatics, Genetics and Bioengineering, Chemistry-Biology Engineering, Engineering and Natural Sciences Programs, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Medical Biology, Medical Engineering, Medicine, Veterinary. Graduates from other life sciences-related programs may apply, subject to evaluation and approval by the academic committee.

Tuition Fee Exemption	Evaluation for tuition scholarships is conducted upon program admission. Students eligible for scholarships may receive up to a 100% tuition waiver, based on their academic history and the recommendation of the Interview Jury, as determined by the Rectorate.

Language Proficiency

Applicants must have obtained the minimum required score from one of the foreign language exams recognized by the Council of Higher Education

For Those Applying With A Master’s Degree:
TOEFL-IBT: Minimum score of 84
YDS/ÜDS/KPDS/YÖKDİL: Minimum score of 70

For Those Applying With A Bachelor’s Degree:
TOEFL-IBT: Minimum score of 84
YDS/ÜDS/KPDS/YÖKDİL: Minimum score of 70

Scientific Proficiency

Applicants must have obtained the minimum required score from one of the following exams for postgraduate education (results must be valid as of the application date)
For those applying with a Master’s degree: A minimum score of 70 from any section of the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES), or a minimum score of 151 from the GRE, or a minimum score of 500 from the GMAT..
For those applying with a Bachelor’s degree: A minimum score of 80 from any section of the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES), or a minimum score of 152 from the GRE, or a minimum score of 590 from the GMAT.
Bachelor’s degree holders must have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 or an equivalent score.

ALES is not required for those who have completed a doctorate/arts proficiency/specialization in medicine/dentistry/veterinary medicine/pharmacy. A score of 65, determined regardless of the entrance score type or specialization area of the postgraduate program they graduated from, as per the Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University Senate, is considered.

1. Written General Biology Exam:

Candidates must score at least 60 in this exam to qualify for the oral assessment.

Original transcript showing courses and grades from the undergraduate program attended
Original or certified copy of Bachelor’s/Master’s Diploma or Provisional Graduation Certificate (Equivalency of diplomas obtained from foreign countries must be approved by YÖK)
Statement of purpose indicating the reason for pursuing a Doctorate in Medical Biotechnology
Two reference letters (to be sent to tanil.kocagöz@acibadem.edu.tr by the person writing the letter)
Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- It is recommended to list two people as references in the CV, including their contact information.
Copy of identity card
ALES (Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam) result document
Foreign Language Proficiency Certificate
Document proving completion of or exemption from military service for male applicants.
