The field of healthcare is continuously growing, changing, and becoming increasingly competitive. This situation has increased the need for managers who possess the conceptual, analytical, and technical knowledge, skills, and abilities required to guide the sector and develop more effective, efficient, and innovative solutions to its problems.
The main objective of the Department of Health Management is to contribute to the training of healthcare managers and leaders who can serve in all institutions and organizations operating at every level of the healthcare sector.
Acıbadem University Department of Health Management stands out with its competent academic staff, the importance it places on foreign language education, and its practical training and internship programs based on university-sector collaboration. Within this scope, starting from the second year, applied education is provided through three weeks of theoretical instruction followed by one week of hospital and field practice, comprising 27% of the curriculum, equivalent to a total of 136 working days. English courses make up 26% of the curriculum, while theoretical professional courses account for 47%.
Acıbadem University Department of Health Management is the only department in Türkiye that is a member of the European Health Management Association and also cooperates with various universities abroad. In addition, it has been accredited for the second time by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Health Sciences Education Programs.
As a result, the qualified education delivered through a balance of theory and practice, foreign language competence, and work experience gained during the student years play an important role in graduate employment, and nearly all of our graduates are active in professional life.
