Lect. Demet Dinç (PhD) from the First Aid and Emergency Program of the Vocational School of Health Services, has been granted the support of the ERASMUS+ SPORT for the project titled "European Football Concussion Awareness, Prevention and Management Model - REFORM", which she leads on behalf of our university.
The project REFORM, aimed at promoting safe football for youth by harmonizing and implementing concussion guidelines and protocols within European football, seeks to increase concussion awareness among various target groups (coaches at sports academies, health professionals in clubs, parents, and players), enhance their skills to reduce and better manage concussions in sports, and facilitate safer recovery processes.
The European Football Concussion Awareness, Prevention and Management Model – REFORM will be conducted in partnership with Acıbadem University and international project partners including the University of Tromsø in Norway, Saarland University in Germany, University of Split in Croatia, the Croatian Football Federation, the Norwegian Football Federation, the German Football Federation, and the Turkish Football Federation.
