The Faculty of Health Sciences Graduation Ceremonies took place in two sessions on July 4, 2024, at our university. The ceremonies began with an opening speech by our Dean, Prof. Murat Bas. The top-ranking student of the faculty, Begum Turker, delivered a speech on behalf of the faculty.
Begüm Türker received the Trustee’s Award for Outstanding Achievement, presented by Seher Aydınlar, President of the Kerem Aydınlar Foundation. The top-ranking students of each department - Begüm Turker from the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Ebru Isik from the Department of Nursing, Elif Gokce Kozanoglu from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, and Hayriye Daglar from the Department of Health Management - were awarded the Rector’s Achievement Certificates by our Rector, Prof. Ahmet Sahin. The second and third place students in each department received the Rector’s Achievement Certificates from our Vice-Rector, Prof. Guldal Suyen, our Dean, Prof. Murat Bas, and the department heads.
After the symbolic diplomas were presented to all graduates, the event concluded with professional oaths and the traditional cap toss ceremony.
