School of Medicine-Basic Medical Sciences Department Scientific Meetings XIV

The fourteenth session of the Scientific Meetings of the Basic Medical Sciences Department of the Faculty of Medicine took place on December 14, 2023. These meetings are conducted with the objective of disseminating the ongoing scientific research within the Basic Medical Sciences Department to the broader Faculty of Medicine, sharing it with research centers within our university, and fostering interdisciplinary scientific collaboration. The meeting, attended by 30 participants, featured a presentation this month by Prof. Özgür Kurt, a faculty member in the Department of Medical Microbiology of the Basic Medical Sciences.Prof. Kurt’s presentation, titled 'Living with a Non-Existent Worm: Everything about Delusional Parasitosis,' contributed to the attendees' understanding of research in this field.
