General surgery plays an important role in medical education. In our Department of General Surgery, Acıbadem University, School of Medicine, we strive to teach our students basic theoretical concepts and practical applications of general surgery with maximum care to provide the highest level of education.
Within our department, besides student education, we also have special training programs for national and international surgeons and these programs are gastrointestinal, colorectal, hepatobiliary, bariatric, breast, endocrine, liver/kidney transplantation, and robotic surgery.
