The “Knowledge Saves Lives in Disaster” event was organized by the Nursing Department

The 'Knowledge Saves Lives in Disaster' event, organized by the Nursing Department of Acıbadem University's Faculty of Health Sciences in collaboration with the Search and Rescue Association (AKUT), took place on December 12, 2023. Mahmut Çelik, a volunteer member of the AKUT Search and Rescue Association, provided information to increase awareness about the actions that should be taken before, during, and after an earthquake. Çelik answered questions such as 'What is an earthquake, and how does it affect our geography? What should be done before an earthquake? What should be done during an earthquake? What should be done after an earthquake?'

The event, attended by 60 people, concluded following a question-and-answer session.
