On April 15, 2024, the Nursing Department at the Acıbadem University Faculty of Health Sciences organized the "Career Guidance VI" program to guide students in their career planning within both clinical and academic fields. The first part of the program featured a speech by the Chair of the Nursing Department, Prof. Ükke Karabacak, on the importance of career planning for students nearing graduation, themed "Nurses, Our Future."
The session titled "Our Nurses Speak" moderated by Assoc. Prof. Bahire Ulus, included sequential presentations by Specialist Nurse Fatma Kahve, Specialist Nurse Ayper Onal, Specialist Nurse Mehtap Adiguzel Akbaba, and Nurse Rojzerin Tay. They discussed the professional recognition of specialty nursing, sharing experiences from university, postgraduate studies, professional life, and the responsibilities of specialty nurses.
The speakers, specialists in their fields, shared stories about the formation of their career paths. The event concluded with a question and answer session.
