On November 6, 2023, fourth-year nursing students from the Acibadem University Nursing Department organized an event titled 'Tiny Hearts, Great Heroes with LOSEV.' Within the scope of the 2-8 November “ The Week for the Children with Leukemia , our fourth-year students Munevver Ulusu, Esra Dogru, Hamide Nur Tamer, Beyzanur Ozkaya, Emine Gumus, Melike Minaz, Sibel Kurban, and Sevval Karaboga, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Bahire Ulus, Assist. Prof. Azize Karahan, and Assist. Prof. Gozde Gur, set up a booth to raise awareness about leukemia. During the visit to the LOSEV booth, students and university staff were provided with information about leukemia, and a question wheel was used to engage participants, along with the distribution of gift cookies. An activity involving adding hair to a toy baby was conducted to draw attention to the treatment process in leukemia.
The event aimed to create awareness about leukemia using the slogan 'I'm with LOSEV and Children with Leukemia, I'm Aware with My Orange color.”
