Inter-Institutional Transfer (Based on GPA)
An Inter-Institutional Transfer refers to the transfer of a student from another higher education institution to an equivalent associate or bachelor's degree program at the same academic level at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University (i.e., from an associate degree program to another associate degree program or from a bachelor's degree program to another bachelor's degree program). Applications for inter-institutional transfer are evaluated in accordance with the Regulation on the Principles Governing Transfers Between Associate and Bachelor's Degree Programs, Double Major Programs, Minor Programs, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer issued by the Council of Higher Education (CoHE), as well as the Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University Directive on Transfers to Associate and Bachelor's Degree Programs.

Required Documents For Application
- The applicant’s high school diploma (a photocopy if it is on file at the university where the applicant is enrolled; the original or a copy obtained through e-Government if the applicant is currently a student)
- Original Student Certificate (certified and stamped, e-signed, or obtained through e-Government)
- Original Transcript (certified and stamped, e-signed, or obtained via e-Government)
- isciplinary Status Certificate (certified and stamped or e-signed)
- Course Descriptions (detailed descriptions of all courses included in the curriculum of the program in which the student is enrolled)
- Letter Stating There Are No Objections to the Student’s Horizontal Transfer: A recently issued, certified, sealed, or e-signed document obtained from the university where the student is currently enrolled (This document is required under YÖK’s letter dated January 30, 2019, No. 2019-859. If admitted to our university, students are required to submit this document to our university during registration),
- YKS Placement Results Certificate,
- YKS Results Certificate,
- Original and a photocopy of the national ID card,
- Passport-sized photographs (3 copies, each measuring 4.5 cm x 6 cm, taken within the last six months, facing forward, clearly showing the applicant’s face, with the applicant’s full name and Turkish ID number written on the back of each),
Additional documents required for students applying and enrolling through lateral transfer from countries other than the TRNC:
- Entry/Exit Certificate (a document obtained from the General Directorate of Security or via e-Government—pages showing the entry and exit dates covering the years/semesters spent studying abroad),
- Residence permit covering the periods spent abroad (if available, both the previous and the current, renewed document)
- PDF copies of documents showing that the university where the applicant began their studies was ranked within the top 400 in at least three of the ranking organizations recognized by the Council of Higher Education (Times Higher Education (THE), QS World University Rankings, Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), and CWTS Leiden Ranking) for the year the applicant began their studies,
- Certified Copies of Passport Pages (Copies of every page—including entry and exit stamps covering the years/semesters of study abroad—must be uploaded in full. Otherwise, the application will not be considered, and no extension will be granted.)
- A notarized Turkish translation of each official document,
- Course descriptions certified by the university where the applicant studied abroad, along with an official transcript and a certified grade conversion table for the courses listed on the transcript,
- A recently issued Equivalency Certificate from the Council of Higher Education.
